What is an Apostille?

Do you have an example of a State issued Apostille?
Yes, every State in the USA can issue an apostille. Also, an apostille can be issued by the US Department of State and District of Colombia (Washington, DC)

What type of payments do you accept?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, personal check and business checks from Bank of America, Chase, and Wells Fargo, Paypal, money orders, cashier checks, Western Union, and Money Gram. Can I drop off my documents?
You can drop off documents at our San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Washington DC offices only. All of our other offices are mail in only. Please mail in your documents by FedEx, UPS, DHL, or USPS priority mail and please obtain a tracking number.
Are you able to obtain vital record documents from the County or State office?
We are unable to obtain vital record documents (birth, death, marriage, etc…). You can contact the County Clerk and request a new certified copy. But, we do recommend that you mail in the original or certified copies that you currently have in your processing. If the State rejects your documents, we will contact you with instructions.
Does an apostille expire?
An apostille does NOT have an expiration date. The country requesting your documents may set a time limit on how old the document and apostille can be. For example, an FBI background check must be issued within the past three months and with an FBI apostille in order to be accepted. Before sending in your documents, be sure to check with the person requesting it to make sure they will accept your documents once the apostille is attached.
Does an FBI background check expire?
It doesn’t but most all countries will request your FBI background check to be issued within the past three months. If it has been more than three months since your past FBI background check, we recommend that you contact an FBI channeler to help expedite the process in obtaining a new copy. Please contact us for a recommended FBI channeler.
