We specialize in providing apostille services for various documents destined for Mexico. The most commonly apostilled documents for Mexico include birth certificates, death certificates, marriage certificates, Certificate of Naturalization, Certificate of Citizenship, FBI background checks, and notarized powers of attorney.

If you are planning to obtain dual-citizenship with Mexico, it is necessary to apostille your birth certificate.

Mexico is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, which means that any official document intended for use in Mexico must have an apostille from the Secretary of State’s office. We can assist in processing documents issued by all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Federal Government for use in Mexico.

The Hague Apostille Convention aims to simplify the authentication process for universal recognition of documents. An apostille certifies the authority or official who signed your documents.

Apostille Service Near Me

July 1, 2023 by admin

Are you searching for “Apostille Services Near Me”?

While most apostille service companies have one location, we have nine strategically located offices in major metropolitan cities and in close proximity to the Secretary of State, US Federal Government, and Consulate and Embassy offices.

Many of our clients have more than one document to process and more often than not, from two different states.  For example, if you were born in California and married in Florida, you will need to obtain a California apostille and a Florida apostille.  Our offices in Los Angeles and Miami can process your documents quickly saving you the time and money of dealing with an out of state apostille company. If you need to apostille your FBI background check, this document is handled through our Washington, D.C. office.

An apostille is a certificate issued by the State which authenticates the official who has signed your document.  An apostille does not authenticate the content of your documents.  Need to learn more on what an apostille is? Click this link:  What is an apostille?

Our offices are located in the following areas:

  • Seattle, Washington
  • San Francisco, California
  • Los Angeles, California
  • Dallas, Texas
  • Miami, Florida
  • Washington, D.C.
  • New York, New York
  • Chicago, Illinois
  • Denver, Colorado

Obtaining an apostille can be complicated. Don’t leave this process to untrained employees or non-professionals who do not fully understand the Apostille process and the unique requirements of certain countries. Apostille My Passport

June 30, 2023 by admin

Are you searching for information on “How to Apostille My Passport”?

We can apostille any passport (Example: USA, India, UK, Russia, China, etc…) signed and notarized in all 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia, and the U.S. Federal Government (USA Embassy). For countries who are non-members of the Hague Apostille Convention, we can also process your passport through the U.S. Department of State and the Embassy or Consulate office.

Most countries will only request for you to apostille the page of your passport with your picture and information.  Some countries may request for you to color copy the entire passport and only have the page with your picture and information to be signed and notarized.  Be sure to double check with the requesting country in order to avoid any delays or additional costs.

In order to apostille your passport, you must mail in the original notarized color copy to our office for processing.  If you are outside of the USA, please do not send in your original passport.  We recommend that you contact the local U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate office to schedule a time to meet with a U.S. Federal notary and have the copy signed and notarized.  Once notarized, you can then mail in the notarized color copy to our Washington DC office for processing.

If you are in the United States, please meet with a local notary public.  We recommend that you find a notary public who has at least five years of experience and one who will follow the notarial laws of their State. Some States require a notarized document to also be authenticated by the County Clerk.  These States include: Hawaii, Kentucky, Maryland, New York, and Tennessee.

Please Note: We can only help you with documents originating from or notarized within the United States and for another country. If your passport is notarized in another country, you will need to contact the correct competent authority to assist you in that country.

Obtaining an apostille can be complicated. Don’t leave this process to untrained employees or non-professionals who do not fully understand the apostille process and the unique requirements of certain countries. Your paperwork could be rejected costing you time and money. Don’t let this happen to you!

Our staff is available Monday-Saturday from 8am to 7pm to answer your questions and provide you easy to follow-step-by-step instructions.  Please call us at 1-888-810-4054.

FBI Apostille for Costa Rica

June 28, 2023 by admin

Do you need to apostille your FBI background check for Costa Rica?  Are you looking for information on how to obtain residency in Costa Rica?

Costa Rica is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention and any official document destined for this country requires an apostille from the Secretary of State.

The purpose of the Hague Apostille Convention is to create a simplified method of “authenticating” documents for universal recognition.  An apostille certifies the official who signed your documents.

Office Hours: 8am – 7pm Monday – Saturday
Customer Support: 1-888-810-4054
Email: CostaRica@internationalapostille.com

In order to acquire residency in Costa Rica, a specific process must be followed, and certain requirements must be met. Here is a general overview of the steps involved in obtaining residency:

  1. Determine the residency category: Costa Rica offers various residency categories, such as pensionado (retiree), rentista (individual with guaranteed income), inversionista (investor), empleo (employment), and others. Assess your situation and choose the category that suits you best.
  2. Collect the necessary documentation: The required documents depend on the chosen residency category. However, typical documents include a valid passport, birth certificate, criminal record certificate (FBI Background Check Apostille), marriage/divorce certificates (if applicable), proof of income or investment, and medical certificates.
  3. Legalize and translate documents: If your documents are not in Spanish, they need to be translated by an official translator. As an additional service to our apostille services, we can assist you with translating your documents to Spanish.
  4. Submit your application: Once you have gathered all the necessary documents, submit your residency application to the Costa Rican Department of Immigration.
  5. Pay the application fees: The residency application process entails various fees, such as application fees, legal fees, and processing fees. Make sure you have sufficient funds to cover these expenses.
  6. Await approval: The processing time for residency applications can vary. It may take several months to receive a response from the Costa Rican Department of Immigration. During this period, they might request additional documentation or schedule an interview.
  7. Fulfill additional requirements: Depending on your chosen residency category, there may be additional requirements to fulfill. For instance, retiree residents might need to demonstrate a monthly pension income, while investor residents might be required to make a specific investment in the country.
  8. Obtain your residency card: If your application is approved, you will need to visit the Department of Immigration in Costa Rica to obtain your residency card. This card serves as your identification and grants you legal stay in the country.

Obtaining an apostille on an FBI background check for Costa Rica can be complicated. Don’t leave this process to untrained employees or non-professionals who do not fully understand the apostille process and the unique requirements of certain countries. Your paperwork could be rejected costing you time and money. Don’t let this happen to you!
